Our mission and vision
My name is Roxana Mihalache
I am a mother, a wife, a woman. A woman with a dream. Don't we all know how important it is for us, women to look and most of all to feel beautiful. A part of us that we tend to lose and neglect as we become mothers, wives and start to live for everybody else, except for ourselves. And most important of them all, women who are far from home, like myself. Whose skin doesn't ally with the address. I strive to bring a piece of your home, your culture into your life and onto your skin. These are the women that I started this dream for. Our core business lies within inclusivity. We embrace every skin color, type and heritage. Every woman on this planet deserves to be and feel beautiful. We are all goddesses, some of us are more in touch with it, others have long forgotten their true potential. We strive to bring that beauty out into the light for everyone to see. About Me.
I have struggled with beauty and skincare my whole life, oscillating between all-in or nothing. I either overdid it, or completely ignored it. I never knew what was right for me, for my skin. I made a lot of mistakes, that my face (therefore me too) had to pay for. And it made me wonder how many other women could find themselves in the same situation as me.
The secrets from behind the scenes
On a daily basis, I'm juggling (like many of you) smelly diapers, spit-up, teething and toddler tantrums. I have 3 amazing children, who luckily have motivated me to become the best version of myself.
There have been countless hours spent on creating my 4th baby, Bendis. Everything about it has a meaning behind it. Even the name, Bendis. It stands for the ancient Dacian goddess of beauty, forests, moon and maternity. It felt so close to my heart and soul and the perfect name to embrace my idea.
I am very proud to say that this baby of mine, Bendis has brought a lot of light into my life and not only, mostly discipline. From the chaotic life of a mom, it grew rapidly into a beautiful routine where I had something else to wake up in the morning for, not only for myself but also for millions of women out there.
